san antonio, tx:

this photo was taken in march 2020 at the sacred heart conventual chapel at our lady of the lake university in san antonio, texas. i visited this place because i went on a college tour here. i originally wanted to go to our lady of the lake because my dad is an ollu alumni, but after touring i found that the university wasnt exactly the perfect fit for me. during my tour however, i found out some really interesting things about the school and its history. sometime around the school’s founding, the nuns took a sword off of one of the statues and hid it somewhere around the school. to this day no one has found it, but if you find it, our lady of the lake will pay the entirety of your tuition. another fun fact is that our lady of the lake also has a convent, which means there are nuns living there. overall, our lady of the lake university is a beautiful school and i loved getting to take in all of the architecture and history on my tour. a song i would like to suggest here is patience by tame impala.
